Love Snowboarding!
World Tour Snowboarder | Olympian | X Games Athlete

Tell us a bit about yourself… how do you come to be on the World Tour for snowboarding, and how did you become an Australian Olympian.

I am a 23 year old Snowboard-cross racer on the World Tour. Ive been in this sport for 5 years now and snowboarding for 13 years. Since hoping onto my first snowboard, I fell in love with the sport and wanted to represent Australia overseas on the World Tour, compete at the Winter Olympics and be the best in the World. So far, I'm only two spots away from the top place.

Is snowboarding growing as an Australian sport?
Do you find you are taken seriously as an Australian competitor when competing in the US or Europe?

Snowboarding in Australia is growing everyday which makes me so happy to see. Each year we have more and more talent coming to our SSA Futures camp who are always so excited to be on snow. Our sport isn't as big as AFL here in Australia and even not as big as Alpine racing in Europe but each year especially coming into the 2018 Olympics we have growing exposure which is good for our sport.

Which Australian snowfields do you most like to train?

Mt Buller.

Where do you most like to train OS?

The Austrian Glaciers.

How have your fuelled yourself when training for these events?

I fuel myself with different super food snacks. Snacks that I can digest easily and gives me the most engery in between training sessions. My favourite snack is Goji Berries and Goldenberries from Power Super Foods.

How has your diet improved since you because an elite athlete?

I have become a lot more aware of what is good for me and what is not. Having a good energy source from good foods has helped maximise my training and performance.

Do you identify as anything particular such as vegan, paleo, vegetarian, flexitarian?

I don't however I find incorporating healthy foods that are whole, raw and organic help my body stay strong and healthy.

What role do superfoods play in your everyday diet?

They play an important role of gathering good reliable energy when I need it.

What are your favourite Power Super Foods products and how do you most like to incorporate them into your diet?

Goji Berries, Chia Seeds and Morning Munch Pumpkin Spice.  I love putting them into my morning smoothies!

You have tried all three of our Morning Munch breakfasts, which one is your favourite?
