Valentine's Raw Vegan Chocolate Berry Icecream Bar!

This RAW vegan ice-cream is not your typical treat! It is berry good for you with superfoods that have super healing benefits.

This recipe contains no refined sugar, is gluten free, dairy free and is suitable for vegans and non-vegans alike! It is made with all raw ingredients including cacao, blueberries, goji & goldenberries, banana, lucuma, coconut nectar and maqui powder.

If you're feeling a little blue this Valentine's Day this healthy indulgence will leave you with a euphoric sensation!

Raw Cacao is high in antioxidants, magnesium and also a great source of serotonin, dopamine, anandamide and phenylethylamine (PEA), four well-studied neurotransmitters, which are associated with feelings of well-being.

Lucuma is especially high in beta carotene, iron and niacin (vitamin B3).

The hemp protein provides highly digestible plant-based protein (Complete amino acid profile), Omegas 3, 6 & 9, essential vitamins, minerals, & anti-oxidants.

Maqui berries are extremely rich in antioxidants that may help neutralize free radicals, detoxify, reboot metabolism, and are full of flavonoids known as anthocyanins which may enhance cardiovascular health, reduce sensitivity responses, and support healthy sugar-insulin metabolism.

The combination of good fats from the coconut oil combined with protein from the activated almond milk and hemp protein will leave you feeling good inside, providing a slow energy release, without any downsides…. unlike high sugar dairy options which take you on an energy roller coaster that always end with a sugar crash!

Valentine's Raw Vegan Chocolate Berry Icecream Bar!


1 cup almond milk
1 banana
1 cup of frozen blueberries
2 tbs Cacao Powder
2 tbs Maqui Powder
1 tbs of Cacao Nibs
1 tbs of lucuma powder
1 tbs of hemp protein
3 tbs of Goji Berries
2 tbs of Goldenberries
2 tsp of pure vanilla essence
1 tsp coconut oil
1 pinch of Peruvian Pink Salt


In a food processor blend all ingredients apart from the raw cacao, salt, blueberries, goji berries & golden berries.

Add the cacao powder and a pinch of salt to taste and process together for another minute.

With a spoon mix through the berries.

Transfer mixture to a rectangular lined tupperware container, cover and place in the freezer for 3 hours to set.

Once the mixture has frozen, remove from the container, cut into rectangular pieces and return to freezer until ready to be eaten.

This raw berry chocolate ice-cream has the perfect balance of sweet and sour tang!

It is best kept in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
